You don’t pay anything to join: the guide works for tips only. At the end, everyone gives what they think the tour was worth, and you can tip by card.
Where do the tours start?
Our free tours start on the Royal Mile, in front of The Copper Still at 154 High Street (EH1 1QS). The meeting point of each experience is on its page.
Do I need to book?
It isn’t compulsory for the free tours, but we recommend it: on busy days, people with a booking have priority. Experiences and day trips must be booked.
Do the tours run in the rain?
Yes, every day, rain or shine. Just dress for the Scottish weather!
